Picking an apartment in Gainesville can be difficult. With so many choices, just picking one can prove to be almost impossible. Therefore, we wanted to tell you why we love our favorite Gainesville apartments.
Museum Walk is a two and three bedroom apartment community on 19th Avenue, located less than 10 minutes from the Florida Museum of Natural History. Although its charm and courtyards make this a great community, here are our favorite reasons to love Museum Walk.
5. Virtual Tours
Looking for a new apartment but do not have time to make an appointment for a tour? This tool is perfect for you. Museum Walk has a link on their website to tour their Uffizi and Smithsonian floor plans online. Here you can look around the apartment and see if it is a great fit for you. This feature is especially helpful if you are looking for an apartment in Gainesville and live out of town.
4. All-Inclusive Living
What does this mean? Each lease agreement includes rental of a bedroom in each apartment that is fully furnished with full size bed, desk and chair, dresser and nightstand. The living/common area that is shared by other bedrooms in the apartment includes a sofa, accent chair, coffee table, 50” flat screen TV (in select units), dining table and chairs. Museum Walk provides all appliances as well. Cable, internet, water, trash pickup and electric (with a maximum cap of $40), and monthly pest control are included in the monthly rent. Each roommate is responsible for only their portion of rent and exceeded utilities
3. Pet Friendly
At Museum Walk, you don’t have to leave Fluffy at home! For a reasonable deposit and monthly pet rent, you can have any breed of pet you want. Museum Walk has no breed restriction, or weight limit. However, you must rent the entire apartment.
2. Parking
In a city like Gainesville, parking can be difficult. At Museum Walk, resident and visitor parking are free—even on game days! Many apartments in Gainesville ask you to pay a fee for parking and guest spaces are extremely limited. At Museum Walk, it’s first come, first serve.
1. Proximity to UF and Santa Fe College
Museum Walk is the perfect apartment for any student or employee of The University of Florida or Santa Fe College. UF is less than two miles from Museum Walk. This is a great walk or bike ride away, which saves you time in trying to find parking on UF’s campus. Museum Walk is a short 10 mile drive away from Santa Fe College.
